according to a fresh report published by Cnet, the foldable Moto Razr is well alive and it will hit the shelves before 2019 ends. Even though the actual reason behind its delay is unknown, we believe it could have been influenced by the woes faced by the Samsung Galaxy Fold and Huawei Mate X.
While not many details about the upcoming foldable phone from Motorola are currently available, it is expected to have a clamshell design which was seen with the original Motorola Razr that debuted over a decade ago. It is most likely that the 2019 Moto Razr will not have a physical keypad, instead, it will incorporate a foldable touchscreen display.
Homogenous to other offerings from Motorola, the 2019 Moto Razr is destined to run the Android operating system which will be optimised to work efficiently on its unique form factor.
Noteworthy, based upon leaks and previously granted patents, Motorola does not intend to make a smartphone and tablet hybrid like the Galaxy Fold and Mate X. Instead, it seems to envision the foldable Razr as a highly compact device which could replace conventional smartphones that have gotten massive in size over the last couple of years.
To sum things up, the launch of the reincarnated Moto Razr seems to be nearing fast. However, we will have to wait patiently until the company releases an official statement.
